Select a political, social, or environmental issue about which you feel strongly about and develop a plan of action for it. To help you decide, the following are some of important issues in Utah & the United States at this time:

Rubric: review the 6 categories of the rubric and how your portfolio will be scored.
Rubric Score: 1= 6 pts 3= 18 pts 5= 27 pts. (extra credit)
2= 12 pts 4= 25 pts 6= 30 pts. (extra credit)
● Connectability: Relevant issue is identified and all information described connects to issue.
● Evidence/Details: Description of intended results, AND activities necessary to accomplishing those results, are fully described.
● Introduction & Conclusion: All sections of Social Action Plan are fully answered.
● Organization: Purpose of action plan and benefits to the community or state are clearly outlined.
● Audience: Individuals and/or organizations who are likely to partner are identified and reasons are fully described.
Individuals and/or organizations who might oppose this plan are identified and reasons are fully described.
● Conventions: Presentation had no basic spelling, grammatical, & punctuation errors that impede or understanding.
